I have lost my swagger.  I can no longer be the Lyran Commonwealth.

In other news, I may have lost our traditional Alvistide song, "The Most Wonderful Time to Drink Beer"

Are you going to go on an epic quest to recover your Swagger and relearn the true meaning of Alvistide?

It's a good thing I never played Oblivion before I played Fallout 3, because if I had, instead of being merely upset, I would have slit my wrists. What a shitty game. Even the seven bucks I paid for it was too much.

It is only playable with about twenty mods.  However with those twenty mods it's actually kind of cool.  I mean, it's not even as good as Fallout 3, which is not even close to FONV, but it's no longer a mess.

Skyrim at least shows Bethesda can learn, and the intro is not nearly as egregious as the last two games.

I just don't...I just...how the ****** do you think it's a good idea to make a game with lots of melee largely a first-person game? And I still have no clue what's going on with the minigames. They're awful.

My biggest problem was that melee combat doesn't have any umph.

The umphiest game I've ever played is the new Mortal Kombat; punch a guy in the face, he fliches some.  Smash his face with your elbow, his upper body twists.  Kick him in the gut his hips pop back.  It's all very satisfying to hit someone.

Oblivion has no umph.  You swing a sword at someone who doesn't really react and they die.

Urgh. Maybe it's just me, but every single game that I play by TriAce turns out to be crap.

The combat system for Radiata Stories was uninspiring...and the plot was onerous.

Trying to give Valkyrie Profile 2 a try, but I'm not liking the button time centric combat system, and the plot seems yawn worthy too.
