I'm not sure. The man who told me everything was tight lipped on the subject. My guess is he bottled too soon. The pressure built and overpowered his glass bottles. No matter, it doesn't change my situation.
1) I'm a highly experienced biochemist.
2) Brewing is simple.
3) I've made beer before. (including a Microbiology class project in my undergrad days)
