And next comes one of the great "so many minor variations" 'Mechs, the Thunderbolt. It's also a bit of a hard one to draw, seeing as it's very, very asymmetrical at the best of times and tends to have rather crazy-looking weapons. (dat large lazer!)

Finally! The TDR-60-RLA (also known as the Thrilla Gorilla) finally gets an icon worthy of its face-smashy gloriousness. Beautiful stuff, dude.

it was a hard one to do; it doesn't look much like the traditional Thud, and I had no idea how to do its all-torso weapons load. In the end, I came up with the idea of putting the SN-PPCs where the traditional LRM launcher goes.

I told myself, "Archer variants all look the same. They have two LRMs and some other bits. This will be easy"

Nope.

So many variants. So little commonality. And, me being me, I drew them all.

So here's the interesting thing about the unseen Warhammer. From above, its secondary weapons are pretty much completely hidden by its shoulders and the like, with only the top missile launcher being visible. Given that most unseen Wammers are only distinct by the aforesaid secondary weapons, it means you can do a lot of them at once. A lot.

This is good, because the re-seen Wammers are nuts

I can vouch for this, you flip through them in the mech selector and they...ummm....are heavier looking.

On the unseen should the ppcs really be that long? It could be just me but it seems they look more like an autocannon that a ppc, at least compared to the older unseen icons used by MM in the past.

And now Deadborder's MegaMek Icon Collection presents "Making it hard for yourself"

I'd been dreading doing the Marauder for a number of reasons. It's shape is just so different from anything else, which makes it rather hard to draw. Added to that, the Reseen Marauder is a completely different shape to its unseen predecessor, which means that you can't use one as a reference for the other. So I re-shaped and re-sized this thing numerous time before getting an outcome that I liked.

Added to that, I found a couple of flaws in my Reseen Marauder icon (as well as one I'd missed) which meant that I needed to edit and re-work them as well. Fun!

And now for one of the ones that started this whole mess, the Battlemaster. It's a 'Mech that has a lot of fans and, perhaps not unrelated, a lot of variants. And all of them tend to look very, very different from each other. It's also the symbol of the site (and of Total Warfare as a whole) after a fashion, so yay. me? I love the re-seen Battlemaster, and having both the new High-Grade Plastic and the MWDA one here helped with the work.

Some 'Mechs you can see the similarities in their unseen and reseen versions. Some you could figure out by looking at after a while. And then there's the Longbow, where the only connection is "missile launcher arms"

Your Longbows are very nice.  O0

But if I may ask you, could you make icons for two distinctive Longbows? The original Unseen LGB-0W and the Primitive LGB-0C.
