23 Feb 2011 Update Complete -- any problems?
« on: 24 February 2011, 03:04:34 »
I just finished updating us to the latest flavor of Debian, updated ALL software to the latest versions, and made various other configuration tweaks to the server.

If you encounter any issues that you think may be related to this update, please post them in this thread.

Uhm... that thread doesn't even exist, where are you even getting the link for that from?

It was a thread about XTRO Steiner (not the one started by Big Al, butthe other one) and at the time I posted, it let me access it.  I only got the message when I hit the quote button, but now I can't even access it either.

Extremely weird.

What happens when you go here, then go to the post you want, then hit quote?

I'm also not getting any notifications from treads I've set to watch since the update, it was working fine before. Thank you.

Dave.

Seems to be working now, however.

Ok, e-mail really is annoying -- EVERY time I make a change on the server upgrade-wise, hotmail blacklists us again... and I have to rebuild the damned postfix SSL certificates... Mails were bouncing because the old certs were invalidated by the update (stupid), and again hotmail has blacklisted us so once more I have to fill out the stupid malfing form that assumes we're mailing list spam-hats.

-- edit --

Ok, once again we should be whitelisted with the various mail providers.

Still getting logged out at random intervals.

I've tried clearing the cache and all the usual tricks.
Mordin Solus: We need a plan to stop them.
John Shepard: We fight or we die. That's the plan.
Ashley Williams: Wow. That's the plan? Is it just me, or did Shepard have better plans before he died?
Urdnot Wrex: Silence! This is the best plan anyone, anywhere has ever had!
Garrus Vakarian: Yes! I AM SO THERE I AM THERE ALREADY!
