(Answered) Total Chaos - Selling assets
« on: 27 February 2013, 18:50:12 »
I've got a question about the chaos campaign rules as presented in Total Chaos regarding selling units.

Selling units is mentioned in two places only that I found:
-Salvage (p13): where it tells us salvage can be sold at half list price. I'm guessing that's the rule for all selling?
-Warchest debt(p14): where it tells us that to get out of warchest debt, a force can and sometimes must sell assets. Makes sense; this seems to imply units in general can be sold, not just salvage?

But: The 'Warchest points between tracks' rules (15) tell us that support points cannot be converted back into warchest points. The list price for all units on the table (p17) is in support points, meaning selling them would net support points.

So how does selling assets ever help a unit get out of warchest debt?

What am I missing?
