Modified Torso & Missile Boxes

All...any info on the following would be appreciated...

OP-086 Mad Cat Torso - Modified
OP-087 Vulture Torso - Modified

I know IWM has listed on their site the two torso's below are required to fit properly with the OP-0xx arms & weapons...but I've also heard rumors (never confirmed) that they really aren't required, but it will take a little coaxing to get the arms to work properly.

OP-088 Vulture Missile Boxes - Modified

Does this come with the missiles in them like the newer sculpt...or covered boxes like the older sculpt?

Asked last week but limited answers. The vulture and mad cat have sockets on the torsos and posts in the arms. Most other non assault omni minis have sockets on the arms with post sticking out of the torsos. If you are good at fabricating a two sized post (torso holes are smaller that the arm sockets), you should be fine without the modified torso.

Could there be something wrong with the molds?  If i'm not mistaken, didn't they use CAD on these one when they did the resizing?

No problems. The posts are different sizes. The Vulture and Mad Cat use small posts on the arms while the other mechs use a larger post on the torso. A nail will do the trick if you find the right size.
