I just finished reading the latest posts; great stuff, especially that prison-island bit, I really loved that. I also look forward to the new PC...though I doubt I'll ever enjoy them as much as Nikola Kardos. I still miss that sonuvabitch.

Sadly still lacking in sessions because of the now five PCs, two have small children and one is house hunting. On the other hand, I've started a blog for the Shadowrun game I'm in on the Saturdays where I'm not running the main game.

Bonus points in the last session:

*The Trutzburg gunners for landing three Long Tom shots all on target in the same hex in the same turn. Ouch!

*Shona's Pixie eating a full volley from a Yu Huang and amazingly not exploding

*Ransom needing only 5s to melt an allready damaged Koshi into the ground... and missing with all but one shot

*More Angel ECM then you can imagine

*Scientific VTOL manouvering in order to cover the least ground with the highest TMM

And that's just getting started.

The Fletcher campaign ends after the current battle; all up it's taken over six months of real world time, so I think that we're due a change of scenery.

Consider this; during the Fletcher campaign I added two new players to the game. It would have been three, but one of them decided to have personal drama instead.

Sadly I'm losing another one at the end of the year as they're moving back to the US for 6-12 months. I may have another potential player, but it's outsideish right now

And the fight is still ongoing. Highlights include:

*Shona is still not dead despite her best efforts

*Irisz can't hit for beans, even on slow-moving assault 'Mechs at short range

*In fact, nobody can. The team hit a near-fresh Yu Huang with enough firepower to utterly destroy it's left arm and strip almost all the armour off it's front torsos. And even then, they missed with two thirds of their hits

*A Vandal losing both it's big guns in one round of fire

*More ECM then god

*Ransom being clever with splitting fire and actually hitting things

*More fun with artillery

With that being said, we're getting very close to ending this. The CCAF 'Mechs are ready to start dying en masse, with several of them either very vulnerable or barely hanging in there
