Mind walking through your burnishing process in words? It's a nice effect, would be interested in giving it a try.

As for the process of finishing, after I assemble the minis and clean them up, I degrease them, etched them and then put them in an ink bath, using a stiff bristle brush to get in all the crevices. After 24 hours of dry time I then take a medium fine wheel to them and take off the excess ink on top. I then use a fine grit wheel to polish the highlights and even get my fade effects with it.
I base them on a blackened base and it all gets a gloss coat. Next day I fill in the base with my gravel mix and let dry another night. I finish it all off with a coat of satin clear that's heavier on the bottom side of the mini than the top that gives great light reflections while keeping it from being unreal shiny.
