PDF, Corrected Second Printing, Wasp -1A, p. 238

"every major government in the Inner Sphere and Periphery manufactures the Wasp"

Per MUL Factory research this is incorrect, as the Draconis Combine does not manufacture the WSP-1A or -1K.

Page 117, Assassin: has 80 points of armor allocated, but should have only 72 points.  Recommend changing the leg armour to 6 to match RS3039 Unabridged.
Page 225, Raven: BV is "N/A", it should be 639 like RS 3039 Unabridged.
Page 284, Valkyrie: jump jet locations are not listed under Weapons and Ammo (Should be 1 CT, 2 RL, 2 LL), to match RS3039 Unabridged.

PDF, 1st and 2nd Printing

P.67, Vedette is listed with a machine gun in the turret. Record sheets and artwork show it in the front. Record sheet also shows full ton of MG ammo. This fixes the missing half-ton that plagues the Vedette back to TRO 3026R

Suggest that MG Location be changed to Front and MG ammo increased to 1 ton to match the Record Sheet

Boomerang Spotter Plane, p. 173

Fuel: 3,276 kg of fuel for a Tech D Prop plane supplies 291 points and not 273, per TM p. 126. However, this actually adds up to 3,274 kg. Thus:

Fuel: change 273 to 291 points
Fuel: change 3,276 kg to 3,274 kg
Cargo: change 13 kg to 15 kg

PDF, second printing, pp. 200-201

Change the header on each page from "Corsair" to "CSR-V12 Corsair" (and the PDF bookmark to match).

Also, the BV was reduced in the second printing, from 1,190 to 1,009, but the MUL and the current (re)release of RS3039 have the BV at 1,190.  This will need to be verified.

page 236, S-3 Sai notable pilots

Tai-i Reggie Hotspurn

Tai-i is not a naval rank.  The equivalent is Chu-i, which is the suggested change.

page 210, SL-17 Shilone fluff

"The SL-17 is the primary medium fighter of the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery."

DCMS operates no aerospace fighters; it only has DCA auxiliary forces so it should read

"The SL-17 is the primary medium fighter of the Draconis Combine Admiralty."

page 214, SL-15 Slayer fluff

"The DCMS hopes to standardize all SL-15s and SL15Rs to the SL-15K beginning in 3069."

The DCMS may hope to do so, but it'd be the DCA's or the Bureau of Military's business to do so.  Suggested change DCMS to DCA or Bureau of the Military

TRO: 3039 PDF, Corrected Second Printing.
Pg. 142: DRG-1N Dragon (fluff page), under "Notable MechWarriors", Buzz-Saw Heltschlag, last sentence:
"He likes nothing better than to pound an opponent into the ground with his ’Mech’s massive left fist.."

Error: Though all official art and miniatures depict a Hand/Battle Fist on the Dragon, no record sheet for a Dragon (-1C, -1N, -1G) available during the "Point-of-view" time of TRO 3039 has ever had a Hand Actuator. [Source: RS 3039, Upgrades, Unabridged. The same holds true throughout the FASA-era RS books]. The first Dragon with a hand actuator on the record sheets, the -5N, entered production in 3047 [source: MUL]. At this time, the Caballeros appear to have been under contract to the FWL, not hiring on with the Combine until the Clan Invasion [Sources: Historical, W/O 3039, "Close Quarters".

Correction: Revise fluff, or add a hand actuator to the -1 series Dragon's record sheets.

Thank you for the report.

Please remember that the fluff section is written from an in universe point of view and can tend to generalize. Had the in universe author written "He likes nothing better than to pound an opponent into the ground with the stump of his 'Mech's left arm.", it just wouldn't have the same feel.

It is a fist. It just is a fist that can't open. So I guess this Dragon will be catching any birds or shaking any hands.

Print edition, Corrected Second Printing

P. 198 and p. 236.

Both Overview sections of SL-21 Sholagar and S-3 Sai mention a fatal incident involving a Kuritan Sholagar pilot, or at least it seems to be the same person based on contents of those overviews. In one of them the pilot's name is spelled Akiro, and on the other Akira. I guess "Akira" is correct, since such Japanese name obviously exists, but it is not like I know a XXXI century Japanese language (or any Japanese language really), so I can't rule out "Akiro" with 100% certainty.

I recommend changing spelling on p. 198 to Akira, unless someone can point out that I'm wrong and tell us why.

Looks like my last post here fell victim to recent technical problems, so here it is again.

Print edition, Corrected Second Printing

P. 73. Engine mass of SRM Carrier is listed as 24 [tons], should be 14 (just like LRM Carrier on the same page).

It is just a typo in the "Engine" line - with 14 ton engine total mass of SRM Carrier adds up to 60 tons, as it should.

P. 8, Ferret Light Scout VTOL

Problem: "Deployment", quote -
Paragraph 1- "Colonel Richard Gunston ordered a company of infantry from his Fifty-fourth Combined Arms Combat Team to use their attached Ferrets to make an airmobile assault on the Fourth Proserpina Hussars landing zone."
Paragraph 2- "Five months later, the Fifty-fourth once again faced the Hussars on Tamar...
Paragraph 3- "Believing that a battalion of commandos was operating in their rear area, the Fortieth slowed its advance and detached a battalion of light ’Mechs for rear-area security..."

Additionally, this story was taken from TRO:3026 (original FASA printing), p. 4. Here is the line from this source. Quote -
"Five months later, a much battered and bruised 54th Combined Arms Combat Team once again faced a force from the 4th Prosperina Hussars on Tamar."

Solution: Change the 3rd paragraph to begin, ""Believing that a battalion of commandos was operating in their rear area, the Fourth slowed its advance and detached a battalion of light ’Mechs for rear-area security..."

========================

P. 20, Mobile Army Surgical Hospital
"Variants, 2nd paragraph"

Problem, two dates/eras are not compatible: "After the Succession Wars, some MASH trucks were converted to ICE engines due to the dwindling supply of fusion engines... No ICE-equipped MASH trucks have been in service since 2815."

Solution: Either move the date to the 3030s (not recommended), or change the text to read: "After the start of the Succession Wars, some MASH trucks were converted to ICE engines due to the dwindling supply of fusion engines... No ICE-equipped MASH trucks have been in service since 2815."

========================

P. 26, Warrior H-7 Attack Helicopter

Problem: Under "Deployement", the reference to Laws Flight differs from the same story in TRO:3026.
From TRO:3039, "Deployment"-
"A number of smaller mercenary units also employ the craft, including one or two helicopter-only units such as Laws Flight, famous for their defense of Kimball II in 3021."
From TRO:3026 "Battle History", 2nd Paragraph (FASA)-
"Such was the case in 3021 in the Combine system of Kimball. The planet Kimball II had the majority of the population and the greatest industrial and military concentrations in the system. Kimball VI had a population of only 100,000, a small militia, a mercenary helicopter unit, and no 'Mechs...
"The Hussars dropped onto Kimball VI..."
"Notable Vehicles and Crews: Nancy Laws"-
"Nancy Laws is the commander of Law's Flight, the mercenary helicopter company that defeated Wilson's Hussars on Kimball VI."

Solution: Change the third sentence from "Deployment" to read-
"A number of smaller mercenary units also employ the craft, including one or two helicopter-only units such as Laws Flight, famous for their defense of Kimball VI in 3021."

p. 52, Striker Light Tank

Problem: Incorrect information.

"Overview", 3rd sentence:
"To allay these concerns, lengthy field testing was conducted during 3006 and produced excellent results."
"Deployment", 1st paragraph, last sentence:
"Orders from the AFFS have been steady since the Striker first started production, though it was often relegated to Planetary Guards units during the First Star League." (well after the fall of the First Star League)

3006 is the "Date Introduced" listed in the MUL

Solution: Remove the end of the sentence, or change the reference dating this militia deployment.

Examples:
"Orders from the AFFS have been steady since the Striker first started production, though it was often relegated to Planetary Guards units."
or
"Orders from the AFFS have been steady since the Striker first started production, though it was often relegated to Planetary Guards units before the Fourth Succession War."

P.70, Hi-Scout Drone Carrier

This may not be errata, it could be an alternate spelling or retcon of spelling.

In TRO:3039, p. 70, every time the manufacturer is mentioned, it is spelled "ScolTek".

In TRO:3026, pp. 60-61, every time the manufacturer is mentioned, it is spelled "ScolTeck".

Are both spelling acceptable, or is this errata?

P. 198, "Sholagar", "Overview", 2nd sentence-

Problem: ”Later used as the base for the Capellan Thrush, the airframe was small and fit well into transports, but its circular wings were unstable in atmospheric flight, resulting in many crashes."

Based on nckestrel's response citing Normann Aris’s role in designing the Thrush from House Liao: The Capella Confederation, the Thrush clearly predates the Sholagar.
House Liao p42 has Normann Aris designing the Thrush.   Yeah, go with errata to TR3039.

Solution: Change the above sentence to read- “Based on the Capellan Thrush, the airframe was small and fit well into transports, but its circular wings were unstable in atmospheric flight, resulting in many crashes."
