I don't want IWM to bleed out either, and I was about to make a post about, "Well, they do manufacture minis for other groups - they do the Malifaux miniature line, after all!"
...then I remembered that Malifaux is shifting to plastic as well.
Right now, we're on the cusp of a paradigm shift in miniatures, from metal mass manufacture to plastic minifacturing, probably culminating in us mini enthusiasts having $300 top-end 3D printers for whatever mini we want, when we want. It's possible that IWM might survive the transition and be here in ten or twenty years, but sadly I suspect that isn't the case.
