hey guys, hope all is well...

I just realized I forgot to let you guys know ahead of time again about the pearl harbor day ceremony...  (well, it's still ahead of time, but only a few days) so I apologize for that.

Anyway, there's a ceremony at the American Airpower museum at republic airfield at 1030hrs to about 1300hrs (on the 7th, for those who are brain dead enough to not understand that that is pearl harbor day) where we honor the men who died there and throughout ww2, and even more importantly, those who lived through it.

There were only 3 pearl harbor vets left during the last ceremony, this may be the last chance to actually meet one of the men who was there on the day.  Also, you get to see them fly some of the real warbirds out to drop the roses over the statue of liberty, they also usually do a flyover over the airfield after they take off.  last year the took the avenger the corsair and the c-47, might be the same birds, might not be.  They have many flyable planes there, just depends on which pilots are doing the run this year as to which planes get used.

sorry about the shameless non-battletech plug, but I know you guys had asked me to let you know about it so that's the info.  If you can come, it's really worthwhile.

P.S. - it's at 1030 hrs because that allows them to hold the ceremony and then get the planes out to drop the roses over the statue of liberty just after noon to correspond to the time in Hawaii when the attack actually happened

Hey there all

just to remind yet again contracts  are coming up for renewal. i am already working with the governor on my renewal and i strongly suggest you all do the same so you don't get kicked off the planet and have to start from scratch with green units again after all your hard work

all you have to do is pm dawn with your proposal for terms to start the process

good luck to all during your renegotiation !!! ;D ;D
