First column, third paragraph: "Dieron District" is an anachronism in the 2600s.  Dieron isn't added to the Combine until the end of the 28th century.

EDIT: Looked at the PDF file's page number, not the book's.

Problem
Engine mass is 9.5 tons.  While that's correct for a 215 SFE, convention on vehicles is to include the engine shielding tonnage with the engine figure.  (See the Merkava Mk. VII on page 175 or Daimyo HQ 67-K on page 205 for examples.)  The vehicle's design is correct and includes the 5 tons of shielding by my math.

Solution
Change listed engine mass to 14.5 tons.

Problem:
The Merkava is missing 6 points of armour from its allocation
It's listed as having 10 tons totally 160 points yet the armor locations only sum to 154

Repost of errata dated February 20th.

Please excuse the inconvenience of this being offline in the intermediate time; also please note that the following only addresses issues that have a direct impact on gameplay. (Some issues like direct-fire ammo or various layout, etc, are beyond the scope of this post and will be addressed in the future.)

AP Weapons (or "Infantry Weapons" as named in some entries)

remove various eclectic references from the "Notes:" of the stat blocks of the following units: Nighthawk Mk. XXI (p. 13), Tornado (p. 15), Se'irim (p. 25), Void (p. 29), Tengu (p. 33), Aerie (p. 117), (Fast Attack) Golem (p. 127). The rules have changed, the AP weapon no longer counts towards the suit's total weight; replace with "None." for those entries that have nothing else in the notes section.

Weapon slots

extra (AToW-relevant) ammo for direct-fire weapons does not, in fact, add another slot. Please refer to TM, p. 170. The following need changing:

  • Se'irim (Anti-Infantry) - Flamer 1 slot (despite +10 shots)
  • Grenadier (Standard) - SL 1 slot (+0 shots), Flamer 1 slot (+20 shots), LRR 2 slots (+0 shots), TAG 1 slot (+180 shots, yes, really)
  • Afreet (Standard) - LRR 2 slots (+20 shots), (JF) - AP Gauss 2 slots (+20 shots), (HH) - Bearhunter 2 slots (+20 shots)

Nighthawk (p. 13)

Mk. XXII - change Grenade Launcher at 100 kg for a Micro Grenade Launcher at 75 kg [explanation: in line with TM, p. 297]

Trinity (p. 27)

change slots of Ying Long MWM from 1 to 1 (2), change slots of Asterion/Theseus MWMs from 1 to 1 (3)
Theseus (RL) - change 3 RL 1 to (1) RL 3
add 40 kg to MRR variant/s of Trinity (to add another 20 shots); add 20 kg to LRR

Void (p. 29)

DCA - Left Arm Manipulator is a Heavy Battle Claw [per text, p. 28]

Tengu (p. 33)

change slots of Standard and Support variant MWMs from 1 to 1 (2)

Grenadier (p. 35)

add Modular Weapon Mount - Body - 1(4) - 10 kg on both variants. Correct missile sizes are 4 slots for both variants (520 kg for standard, 500 kg for HK variant).

Nephilim (p. 39)

change slots of Seeker variant MWM from 1 to 1 (1), change slots of Standard and Capture Team variant MWMs from 1 to 1 (2)

Edit: corrected the Grenadier; dev-level as usual

As the above is a straight repost, I would like to take the irregular step of replying to the post directly. Your effort warrants the attention and in the spirit of cooperation, I would like offer the following as helpful elaborations. Xotl, I realise this is unorthodox but hopefully within bounds; if not, please remove or relocate.

Quote
Errata on the errata:

Trinity Medium Battle Armor (p. 27)
        Under "Weapons and Equipment" Rocket Launcher Variant, change "3 Rocket Launcher 1 - Body - 3 - 75 kg" to "3 Rocket Launcher 1 - RA - 3 - 75 kg."

Arm's can not have more than 1 AP and 1 AT, or 2 AT weapons (Table on p170 of TM).  In addition, these systems are 2 slots (TM347).  This design is basically illegal, as there is simply no room for the 3 RL plus the modular mount and LRR.  I would recommend changing it from "3 Rocket Launcher 1 - Body - 3 - 75 kg" to "1 Rocket Launcher 3 - RA - 3  - 75 kg", which makes the design legal.  Alternatively one RL could be a RL 2 in 1 arm, and the other a RL 1 in the other arm.

Absolutely! Thanks again :)

Quote
Corona:
Under "Swarm/Leg Attack/Mechanized/AP", change "Yes/Yes/Yes/No" to "Yes/Yes/Yes/Yes".

As a heavy battle armor, it cannot do swarm/leg attacks, and should be "No/No/Yes/Yes".  This was incorrect in my printing, but found correct in a PDF

Yes - unfortunately, the errata is a bit out of date (on top of indeed simply being wrong on that account).

Quote
Non errata errata:

TRO:3075, Page 19, Kobold
Add a note that the Small Laser and Small Pulse Laser cannot both be carried at the same time, it puts the design overweight.

That is absolutely correct, but will hopefully also be covered by the RS (in the undefined future, once BA are released).

Quote
TRO3075, Page 25, Se'irim
Add note for "Yes" to AP for the Anti-Infantry version, or add a note to the kg AP weapon it can carry.

This is noted (incorrectly, as per errata above - but it is noted :D ) in the current Second Printing PDF. Thanks!

Quote
TRO3075, Page 33, Tengu
   The Small Variable-Speed variant, the laser should be 375kg, not 380kg (500kg * .75 = 375kg)

Unfortunately, 3075 was not yet uniform on noting direct-fire ammo. The SVSP variant does, in fact, carry an extra ammo clip (battery pack?).

Quote
TRO3075, Page 35, Grenadier
The SRM 5 (4) Shots on the hunter-killer variant should be 500kg, not 510kg, and the slots should be 3, not 5.
Add a note that there is no AP weapons on the Hunter-Killer version.

Absolutely correct on weight and change of AP ability. I had missed noting these in the errata above, so again sorry for the inconvenience and thank you very much for pointing this out.

Please note that the SRM5 (4 shots) actually occupies 4 slots due to the added ammo.

Quote
TRO3075, Page 39, Nephilim
Narc Version - The Support PPC is 187.5kg, not 195kg.  The NARC is 170kg, not 180 kg (150kg + 10kg per *TWO* shots).

The Support PPC would be 190 kg, as DWPs round up to the nearest 5 kg. However, the PPC carries an additional two clips for 45 shots total.

TM requires errata there, it should be 10 kg per shot (as shown on the IS table, not the Clan table). I will make a note to fully clear this up, thank you very much for the indirect reminder.

Quote
TRO3075, Page 41, Shedu
The Capture Team, change the slots on the 2 detachable weapon packs to 1.

No, each Taser is carried as a separate DWP, hence 2 slots. I agree with you that its annotation is on the far side of confusing.

Quote
The standard version is 45kg overweight, because it calculated the clan HRR weight of 325kg when it should be 375kg.

As per the other threads, the current TM errata clarifies that the HRR does in fact have a weight of 325 kg.

Quote
TRO3075, Page 117, Aerie
Add note that Salvage Aerie can make no anti-mech attacks.
Remove the notes for the stealth armor, no other design has it.

As above, I forgot to note the Anti-Mech, again sorry. But please note that the Salvage Aerie may also not deploy via the Mechanized BA rules.

Stealth Armor notation falls into the realm of editing, rather than actual rule/unit errata. TRO Prototypes does note Stealth Armor, so it is possible the annotation may change in the future.

Quote
TRO3075, Page 119, Afreet
Hell's Horses Variant.  The Bear Hunter is 151.5kg, not 180kg (150kg + 1.5kg per 20 shot clip, skipping first)
Standard Variant.  The LRR is 176kg, not 195kg.  The weapon is 175kg + 1kg per 20 shot clip, skipping first)
Jade Falcon Variant.  The AP Gauss Rifle is 201.25kg, not 225kg.  The weapon is 200kg + 1.25kg per 20 shot clip, skipping first)

Again, the weight noted in TM is that of a single shot, while the number in brackets shows the standard clip size; thus the two values multiplied give the final weight of an extra clip. The weights are therefore correct.

Thank you for your in-depth feedback. BA (of all releases) have had particularly detailed reviews performed within the last half year in an attempt to address some of the standardisation issues that obviously plagued the 3075 release; hopefully, there will be less confusion in the future.

Because of this, though, it would be great if future Battle Armor queries could be brought to attention in the General Errata thread first.

Thanks again!! :)

Problem:
Rock Golem
The Rock Golem's DWP-mounted Heavy Recoilless Rifles are listed at 245 kg.
75% of 375 kg, rounded up to the nearest 5 tons, should be 285 kgs. This makes the Rock Golem 80 kgs overweight.

Suggestion:
Under "Rock Golem", change both Heavy Recoilless Rifle (Detachable Weapon Pack) weight to 245 kg.
I think the easiest way to find the missing 80 kgs is to change the armor from Fire Resistant to Standard.

TRO 3075 (corrected 2nd printing), p. 54 - Condor Hover Tank (Upgrade)

Variants: remove "a ton of armor,"

reasoning - the variant described has weight savings of 3 tons (ERLL + 2 SHS instead of LB 5-X AC + 2 tons ammo) yet the AMS (1.5 tons), ECM (1.5 tons) and Armor (1 ton) add up to 4 tons. The RS (3075, p. 23) show that the armor reference is erroneous.

PDF, Second Printing Corrected, Korvin Tank, p. 238

Under notable pilots, Yuri Karpov is noted as having three Battlemech kills, and as already having an experienced tank crew when the Korvin was introduced.  The Korvin was introduced in the early 24th century, making it over 100 years older than the BattleMech.  One of the fact about Yuri is incorrect.

Correction:
The references to the 24th century should be changed to 25th century.  The new model was introduced in 2530 and the reference to the 25th century in the Deployment section should be changed to the 26th.

I've attached the current errata version to the first post.  As far as I know, all the changes detailed therein were corrected in the second printing of TR 3075 (and the current PDF).

If you spot any changes that weren't in fact corrected, please report them here.

PDF, Colossus p198:

The end of the 3rd paragraph reads "Despite being upgraded over the years, all but a handful were lost during the Amaris Coup, and the SLDF chose to replace them with the smaller (and less expensive) Excalibur-class."

According to the MUL and TRO3057R, the Excalibur wasn't introduced until 2786, two years after Kerensky and the SLDF left the Inner Sphere.

Suggested fix:

"Despite being upgraded over the years, all but a handful were lost during the Amaris Coup, and the SLDF planned to replace them with the smaller (and less expensive) Excalibur-class."

With this wording, nothing else needs to change, the SLDF's plans were simply overtaken overtaken by events.

Sorry to drag up an old thread.

I'm using the 2nd Printing Corrected.

Pg 21- Kobold Battle Armor
I noticed that the Small Laser list in the Right Arm shows a weight of 200kg.

But the Small Pulse Laser in the Left Arm shows 200kg but according to TM they are 400kg.

If TM is correct then the Kobold with the Small Pulse laser would be overweight by Approximately 175kg.

The SPL is mounted in a Squad Support Weapon Mount. It means the stated mass is correct (though only Trooper #1 actually carries it). Note that the SL + SPL combo is indeed impossible as that would bring the Kobold's total weight over the 750 kg limit by 110 kg.

Nicest writing compliment ever: I know [redacted] doesn't like continuity porn, but I do, and you sir, write some great continuity porn! (MadCapellan)

3055 rocks! Did so when I was a n00b, does so now.

2008 Second Printing, Corrected, print edition

p. 87 DFN-3S Defiance

Problem: The 'Mech lacks Triple-Strength Myomer under Weapons and Ammo. 'Mechs description on p. 86, it's movement stats on p. 87 and Record Sheets 3075 (2010, print edition) agree, that the 'Mech is equipped with one.

Solution: Based on the 'Mech's Record Sheet from Record Sheets 3075, under Weapons and Ammo add the following equipment - [Name] Triple-Strength Myomer [Location] LT/LL/RL [Critical] 4/1/1 [Tonnage] 0.
