(Answered) Infantry Bog Down In Mud Hex
« on: 11 January 2018, 02:04:56 »
TO pg.62
Code: [Select]
Additional Modifiers: For tundra, magma crust, deep snow and mud hexes, apply a –1 modifier to the Piloting Skill
Roll to determine whether a unit entering such terrain gets stuck. Apply the same modifier to Piloting Skill Rolls made
 to free a stuck unit.

TO pg.63
Code: [Select]
Infantry: For infantry entering such a hex, roll 2D6. On a result of 4 or less, the unit gets stuck. To escape getting
stuck, an infantry unit need only make a 2D6 roll of 4+.

So, would the -1 apply to infantry entering a mud hex or should it just be a 4+ since they dont have a piloting skill to begin with?

The rules on p. 63 replace the rules on p. 62 in this case (they're there because infantry don't have Piloting Skill).  Don't apply the -1 for infantry.
