With the release of Shattered Fortress, it's time for me to fulfill an old promise. I have placed my entire collection of BattleTech games, books, and merchandise up for sale - indeed, much has already sold - and I have deleted all my PDFs. After thirty years of playing the game - and nearly twenty on these forums! - it's time for me to go. Goodbye, all!

Oof. Makes me kind of happy I didn't bother with Shattered Fortress... I've had similar feelings like this for other reasons. I'm holding out for ilClan, though.

You guys better make the OstBosch to make up for this! :(

You were one of the pillars of the BT community when I first joined the CBT forum back in 2007. I salute you, and wish you well. Somehow I doubt that we've heard the last of you though - BT has that thing that pulls people back in...

I'll echo what others have said: I'm sad to see you go. Your posts in the various tank threads have been invaluable, and I've enjoyed the vast majority of your other posts. If you ever decide to come back, I for one will be here to welcome you back with open arms. I think I said something similar the last time you went on "break", and I stand by it now.
