Is the pictures Front Vs Back or two different styles?

It's front vs back, there's only one shirt offered at the link.

Well, it could be reversible. That'd be different....

House Arano looks like it'll be worth the wait. Glad to see some Polynesian influence somewhere in the BT universe as well.

Has the Commander's Edition been previewed elsewhere? I can't recall hearing about this before and it's not entirely clear to me what the actual product is.

just the cover. it seems to be a melding of AS and ASC (with not insignificant changes) so they only have to print one book

It includes all to date errata plus some other changes both minor and major,  is much easier to reference, and is laid out significantly better.

This.
If you are at all interested in Alpha Strike, this book is for you.
And even if you're already deep in, you seriously should consider getting it, as it's massively superior to having AS+ASC.
The solution is just ignore Paul.

Looking forward to reading House Arano. I love how it mirrors the look of the original House Books, (the border at the top specifically).

Warships in Alpha Strike weren't one of the parts of it I'd call interesting. :-X  They're just a wee bit too big and complicated for the conversions to play nice when the basic unit is still "one 'Mech".

How is that different than the space section of Total Warfare?  ???  Warships already fire weapons in bays at a time against ~six hit locations that take 2-6 hits to get through armor.

i'll admit i've never looked closely at those rules - could you get an entire squadron on one piece of paper in TW?
