So, after being a fan of Battletech for about 25 years, but never having much opportunity to play it (none of my friends like it... yeah, I know), had the chance to begin with some people a small campaign using the Chaos Campaign Succession Wars rules.
During one of our battles where a minefield was present a mech of my opponent got into an square with a mine, but it didn't explode. Then he decided to remain on the same hex the following turn. So, does he have to roll to see if he sets the mines again? Technically even if he doesn't move from the square he is supposed to be in movement, no?
We ruled that he had to roll, but it would be great to know if that's the right thing, for next battles. Also, I suppose you don't have to roll when you leave the hex.
Thanks!
