(Answered) Ranges of BA Heat Sensors

According to the table on p. 347, the Inner Sphere heat sensor for Battle Armor has a range of 9/18/27. But, according to the table on p. 348, the Clan heat sensor has a range of -/-/34. Does the IS heat sensor really have short and medium ranges? Should the Clan heat sensor have them too?

1) Yes, the IS heat sensor does have short and medium ranges, but they have no effect in Total Warfare level play.  Please refer to the Sensor Spotting rules for Double Blind play in Tactical Operations for how those ranges should be used.

2) Use range brackets of 11/23/34.
