MODERATOR NOTICE
A moderator politely said to chill out on the questions and complaints about the Recognition Guide not being released, communicated, etc. That was ignored. We've locked the thread for a few hours to let you get it out of your systems.
Maybe this will be a little easier to remember:
QUIT BRINGING UP THE RECOGNITION GUIDE
Any failures to follow those simple written instructions will be met with Rule 3 warnings. This is a No Recognition Guide Zone for 96 hours. Don't believe me, post about the topic and see what happens.
The Recognition Guide was intentionally delayed. That series has had a number of people working very hard to deliver a high-quality product and management decided that their work deserved more recognition than being lost amidst a wave of other materials on the same day. Given the lack of civility and maturity displayed so far, this is not open for discussion for 96 hours. Everyone needs some distance from this before it's discussed further.
Which brings me around to another subject: At least one person at CGL worked for many hours to line up the releases on Thursday during a day most of us were taking off for family, friends, and other personal pursuits. They sacrificed time with their loved ones to deliver products. Consider how their hard work lining up long-awaited products and new releases in a major sale was rewarded by the fans in this thread.
Please, just stop. This thread is supposed to be a place for people to enjoy the excitement of upcoming releases and being able to talk about them with the developers. I understand the disappointment of a release not coming when you'd hoped for it, I was looking forward to seeing what was in the release myself. But keep your perspective, don't be bitter and entitled, and for the love of Blake don't take it out on the people who are working their asses off to get stuff into the hands of the fans that want it.
