Looking for An Online Group

Looking for some players that can meet about once a week.  I am looking to start a campaign centered around a single elimination tournament in a small "junior" league on Solaris VII.  Players would be MechWarriors created via AToW, competing in the tournament; play will focus on the player's matches and the things that can happen out of the cockpit between matches.  If the group continues beyond the tournament, play will shift towards getting matches and rankings in Solaris.

Play will be conducted via Discord for voice and dice rolling out of matches; matches will be played via MegaMek.

If interested or you have questions, let me know and I'll send you an invite to the discord server we'll be using.

A solaris Tournament and life sounds pretty interesting in how things could play out. Would it involve things like also needing to hunt out sponsors etc?

To some extent at least. I had envisioned Paradox League being kinda like a minor league sort of thing where competitors could get called up. Some of the incentives for the tournament was also to gain sponsorship and investments as well as a position in a stable. Similar to American idol and similar shows, just cuz you don’t win the final match wouldn’t necessarily mean you didn’t get anything too.

Unfortunately I haven’t received a lot of active interest and I’m debating if I should pull this idea. If I get enough interest I’m definitely down for making a solid go of running all this.
