So, here is all the info you get ahead of time this year. :brew:
You can bring your own mech(s) but you will only play 1 at a time. When it dies you can come back with a different one. I will have random mechs/sheets for those who can't bring their own.
Mechs will be balanced to the scenario when you arrive (not telling you how they will be balanced so tread carefully if you go super extreme one way or another).
Bonus points will be given for Halloween themed mechs. This can just be mechs with Halloween names. This can also be mechs painted in a Halloween theme. Or both & you get double points. (ex: A Ghost mech painted as a ghost might qualify for both). You will have to make your claim for the points to me at the game. So... be compelling.
The game will be hexed. It will use Battlemech Manual rules plus our usual Chicagoland optional rules. We will use card initiative.
Plus, it will use all the fun craziness I have planned for this scenario but you don't get to know that until you arrive. :brew:
