Do we know if Evelyn Buhallin continued to pilot a Loki after joining Clan Goliath Scorpion, and if so, did the Black Crusader keep her signature paint scheme?

Was she one of the pilots featured with the Dark Age mini's ? How did she come to be with the Scorpions ?

Also, another Falcon pilot too, she even had her own dossier card in Dark Age, was Ichiba Pryde, but unlike Jiyi, for example, she vanished from cannon

I have no idea if she's in any Dark Age material. I know her from the Jade Falcon phone book where she was described as a moderate Warden, but grief over losing so many friends at Tukayyid created a deep hatred for any and all Spheroids, earning the nickname "The Black Crusader".

I haven't cracked open the book recently, but I do know FM:WC puts her as captured by the Scorpions and having risen to command Tau Galaxy. I guess either she had an Ebenezer Scrooge turnaround at some point, or fanatical Crusader sentiments aren't actually a big hindrance in this Clan I know nothing else about her from memory or Sarna, but I feel safe in assuming that by the Dark Age, she's either dead or retired.

Scorpions offloaded what few Crusader leaning warriors they had to Wolves in exchange for goodies during Harvest Trials, she could have been there

From Battletech Universe we now finally have official names for all members of Seeker retinues (warrior/yeoman, artist/harbinger, technician/tinker, laborer/footman, scientist/sage, merchant/sutler, pet/familiar)

Also Scorpions and Jarnfolk have started being pals it seems since they have been taking on a lot of Jarnfolk navigators as Sages on expeditions through Deep Periphery

My guess is that Jarnfolk merchant ships started visiting Empire (and vice versa) for business or maybe even immigration as well which is how they started getting recruited

They have been manufacturing invasion era Clan technology since 3100

They started with light omnis like Snow Fox at the turn of the century and worked their way up to assault omnis like Warhawk prior to Hanseatic Crusade (3140)

Improved Heavy Lasers and Artemis V too but they were the ones who invented them in the first place

They've also been making all WoB tech as well for just as long (minus Frankenstein grade stuff, too disturbing)

From later eras fancy tech we know they now manufacture endo-composite chassis, reflective armor, plasma weapons and HAGs (mostly after the Crusade)

So far they don't seem to have the very latest tech like ballistic-reinforced armor, hardened armor, ferro-lammelor armor and re-engineered lasers

Doubt it, more like stuff like Blakist mechs and Purifier Adaptive

Cybernetic implants have fallen out of favor with Scorpions once Protomechs were discontinued so no VDNI and MD (Frankenstein grade)

I don’t know if they have MD level Blakist tech but they definitely have WoB Militia level tech. They’ve made Grand Crusaders, Nexus (Nexi?), and Raijin. I’d assume they couple probably make VS Pulse lasers and Small Cockpits but probably not the others.

They renamed the Nexus to Star Python and the Great Crusader to Star Crusader (plus ominification of said Mech). Though I also doubt they have access to the real elite stuff like the Celestial Omni series as those were made primarily on Gibson and Terra. And VDNI and Machinima domini was limited to the anei domini and the cache the Scorpions took didn't contain that tech. And I doubt they have seen tech like reengineered lasers or hardened armor as those are pure IS technologies. Has even one Clan used those so far? I think only the Ravens have even showed a hint of interest in reengineered lasers the rest sticks to their own guns.

The Hammerhead and Amarok both have hardened armor. And depending upon what data were present in the JumpShip that the Scorpions got from the Sea Foxes at Corell in the Chainelane Isle, they could choose to produce just about anything. It's not as simple as that, of course, as advanced technologies often require improving the manufacturing base first. Since they got that database in 3151, it will take some time before the latest tech starts trickling out. Advanced armor, however, should be among the easiest to produce, IMHO.

The Home Clans (Scorpions included then) could have access to WoB tech. When the Dark Caste captured Waypoint 531, they captured military gear (Mechs, vees, Aerospace fighters, data). The Dark Caste (The Jaguar and his merry band of cutthroats) moved to the Tanites after this. Probably he shared (or sold) what he did not need (as to data).
The Society and the Dark Burrocks got this

Later when Clan Star Adder annihilated the Dark Burrocks and the Tanite people they might have captured this WoB tech and data from them.

There's pretty simple rule as to which Wobbie tech Scorpions are willing to use:

Manei Domini (AKA Frankenstein grade) equipment is hell no

Regular Blakists equipment (AKA no cybernetics) is no problem


Like Metallgewitter said the Clans haven't been in a hurry to use new lasers and seem perfectly satisfied with their own stuff

Scorpions could build VSP lasers but they don't seem to want to especially considering that they already have their own homegrown type of advanced laser weaponry (Improved Heavy Lasers)

Yes.
Nevertheless, the Clans could improve the VSP lasers (less tonnage, more range).

Another interesting detail:
In FM Warden Clans in the flufftext of the ATM is mentioned thart the Coyotes decided for the ATM, but there was a Hybrid Laser technology in research.
Wonder what would have been this.

Heavy Lasers are great but they lack accuracy which is unacceptable for Scorpions

So they improved them and made them accurate

Yes, now they explode when damaged but it's no biggie, after all Gauss Rifles explode when damaged too
