IIRC it's one of the fighters in the AT1 rulebook …
It is, but you have to dig out your TRO:'75 to read any non-stats on it.

D'oh! Sorry about the confusion.

I meant to write "original TRO3025 fighter art"... As in, fighters in general. Which, since the art in TRO3025 is similar to the art in the AT1 rulebook and the AT1 counters, implies that the Eagle would have a similar look - I figured the delta-wing generic represented the Eagle.

Art style in the FASA era changed from TRO to TRO. If it's not in that book, it's safe to say it's not going to look like those other units.

Just a small aside, the Eagle was the first aerospace fighter the Magistracy is listed as producing in StratOps, which isn't too surprising considering who their neighbors are.

the artwork never named which fighter as which

Amusingly, the Eagle's art is the exception, as it's used as the opening art for the fighter section of that TRO and is clearly labeled.

...as the Hammerhead.  :D

I feel like I can recall at least one person complaining when Aerotech 2 came out that the Hammerhead art had been "retconned" when it's original art was swapped back and the Eagle received the 3057 art.

Just a small aside, the Eagle was the first aerospace fighter the Magistracy is listed as producing in StratOps, which isn't too surprising considering who their neighbors are.

Not to mention that the Eagle is an excellent fighter to be starting out on.
Good news is the lab boys say the symptoms of asbestos poisoning show an immediate latency of 44.6 years. So if you're thirty or over you're laughing. Worst case scenario you miss out on a few rounds of canasta, plus you've forwarded the cause of science by three centuries. I punch those numbers into my calculator, it makes a happy face.

I'm late to this thread, but if TRO 3075 was the first publication of its stats, there's literally no excuse for it not having an armor layout of 81/51/41...  ::)
