Pg 351 Tech Manual Light Machine Gun Support Weapon
In TM the Light Machine Gun conventional infantry support weapon is listed as having a damage of 0.49 and a class of Medium/Support (B) indicating ballistic type. Unlike the other 3 Machine guns below it, it does not have the B Heavy Burst characteristic. Is the an error or oversight. As it stands, there is no benefit (in fact just a detriment) to equipping a Foot Infantry Platoon (AutoRifle) with 2 LMG support weapons per squad. The damage is less than the auto rifle. If the LMG is supposed to fill the IRL role of something like the BAR it should have a Heavy Burst Characteristic.
