What mechs are on the cover? Hunchback IIC and Loki II? Can’t make out the third.

Looks like a Penetrator to me.
"We have made of New Avalon a towering funeral pyre and wiped the Davion scourge from the universe.  Tikonov, Chesterton and Andurien are ours once more, and the cheers of the Capellan people nearly drown out the gnashing of our foes' teeth as they throw down their weapons in despair.  Now I am made First Lord of the Star League, and all shall bow down to me and pay homa...oooooo! Shiny thing!" - Maximillian Liao, "My Triumph", audio dictation, 3030.  Unpublished.

A Penetrator in the back, middle is a Hellspawn, right is a Hunchback IIC getting torn to pieces.

Looks like that's a Hellspawn and a Sentinel... in Hansen's Roughriders markings. Great.
"Well, I do, Marcus, and rule number one of the MAC has always been that the man with the plan leads. If we get shot up, I'm the first one to get my ticket punched. There are no flags in the MAC."
"And there never will be," Barton said, nodding his head in agreement.

"You guys are facing a freaking Shadow Division! These guys have strict policies against playing fair!"

"I don’t care. Kill them. I planned the defense so I know it will work. If they claim otherwise, they’re cowards. Any step back is a betrayal of me, and saying they don’t have enough men is just an excuse for incompetence and disloyalty. Others beat me to the Roughriders mechs, but there is a Kinnol tank between the HBK's legs.  Is it RAF or Roughriders?  Is this a scene from Terra?

Looks like the vee could be a Maxim as well.  I like Kinnol and Maxim so I’m happy either way.

A torn Lyran flag, a planet above, and purple hues.  The cover doesn’t have to match any possible theming so no guarantee it’s the Hinterlands, but It would make sense though, torn Lyran flag, second line Falcon mech.

D'oh forgot I had seen the First.  Makes it a Roughrider tank.

Does the new Maxima art look like that?  I thought not.

It does look like the new Maxim.  Small window in the middle, LRM-5s below the cockpit.

Amazing what you remember because of detail painting.

I never notice how close they could be until now.

Good chance for some misidentification issues in a story someplace.  Or better yet, someone doing shenanigans with an in universe Equipment Recognition card deck or similar.

It’s the dual launchers up front that make them so similar.  And then resolution making it difficult to determine the turret SRMs and Machine guns, versus the AC.

It's a Hellspawn and a Penetrator, and between the Hunchback IIC's legs you can spot a Maxim

Edit: Like everyone else already said.   :embarrassed:

Wish it still was a Kinnol.  Means the Roughriders had one so the good design is not dead and it would signalit was part of new art.

I guess the others are: Hellspawn, Penetrator, and a Maxim.

I realize that Ray and Cubby are both up to their eyeballs in Kickstarter stuff and probably won’t see this, but let the historical record show that I would be happy to buy more, and additional variations of, the Battlefield Support punch outs in the Mercenaries box if they were to be made available in a fashion similar to the Alpha Strike Counters pack.

Going by the MUL, it very much is not dead. Looks like the Ravens, Bears, and Marians are the only make factions that don't use it.

What I wish for is a mini. Don't care if it's metal or plastic, it's the poster child heavy tank of a major nation. We NEEDS that mini.

that's a nightmare, and a daymare, and bloody scary.

I wish they'd address that sooner than later.

The CGL store did have an "Australian option" at one time, but had so little stock on offer it still made sense to go to other US or UK based sellers, and to wait for IWM's Black Friday sale to hit their free shipping limit once a year at a discount.

CGL's just not big enough to be attractive to major distributors outside CONUS, it would appear.

I'd hire a guy to walk (well maybe drive, I'm not that mean) your stuff to post office and go from there ... just to see if there's a significant s/h difference.

Nothing terribly exciting.  Just the Recognition Guide Thunder Hawk and two derivative variants.

The Star League Command Lance is the only non-kickstarter forcepack we don't have sheets for, IIRC.
