Old school MW (RPG) player looking for like minded players/GM for 3025 campaign

Hello
I am an older, experienced BT/MW player (former GM) looking for a group of like-minded players (and a GM) to start a 3025 campaign using MW: Destiny or another system(s).

Online game preferred using Roll20, Foundry, MekTek, etc...I am EST and available Mon/Tues/Thu nights...would consider a PBP game if people prefer

Looking to start as a lance size (?) merc unit in and around the 4th war and see where it leads...hoping for a balance of mech combat, unit logistics, politics/negotiation, and personal combat/action

Does anyone know of any other places to go looking for an online game besides the obvious like Roll20, Reddit, Discord?

Trying to find a group to play online like we did in the 'old days'...building a merc unit up from a lance, worrying about spare parts and heat...where a company of mechs could take or hold a whole planet...:)

Do you have a local game store?  If you're in the DC area, Jester006 runs a game out at Huzzah Hobbies when he can.

We have a couple and they are full of kids playing card games or the occasional 40k game

Looking for a RP focused game with a balance of mech/non-mech time...ie I want to play the way the first dozen or so novels read...:)

My original copy of Thunder Rift I bought new and my 3025 book still has the Unseen in it...lol...:)

Sadly, I think that describes most of us in the hobby at the moment...

Fortunately/unfortunately my only experience with PBP was a group of good friends getting to together to play Firefly when it was first released.  Our GM wasn't ready and we had our character concepts so we just started RPing on a forum we had...played for four months almost daily...lol...we just GM'd each other ie keep throwing wrenches into each others actions as long as they didn't cause physical harm....it was a blast...:)

I would be willing to give it a try, however while I know what I am looking for 'world wise' running my own business (26hrs a day/8 days a week...:) I don't really have the time to put it all together...:)

Excellent!  Available 'mechs are the Blackjack, Fire Javelin, or the former Liao Liaison in the about to be repaired Marik Marauder.  Of course, there are plenty of support personnel roles too.  Shoot me a PM with a name and some general ideas (i.e., if you were with the unit when it fled Marik space or picked up on Galatea) and I'll work up a strawman character we can edit from there!
