So I will start this by saying, this unit may be illegal. I have checked around, and while their are limits on putting heavy gauss rifles in 'vehicle turrets' and directional torso mount quirks: however after much searching I cannot find any reference to quad turrets or mech turrets, as heavy gauss only require that they be fixed in side torsos (unless its on a super heavy), or in the front or rear of a vehicle with a fusion engine. I will say this may be due to it existing in a errata I am unaware of any changes having looked at the version 7 of tactical operations errata or the version 8 of the tech manual. If anyone knows if when and where I could find the correction feel free to reply.
So with that clarified let us begin.
The Killroy is designed first and foremost as a dedicated sniper platform with a single improved Heavy Gauss rifle in a quad mech turret. Its main tactic will be to go hull down, fire from behind cover (and protect the rather weak leg armour), then fall back: using the turret to provide a excellent field of fire.
I so far have three versions of the Killroy, and am struggling to decide between them, and two lighter heavy versions at 70 tons and 60 tons.
The first version, being the 80 tonner has the Improved heavy gauss, tied to a Targeting computer, with 4 tons of ammo, with endo structure and a good solid 15.5 tons of armour, and can move at a decent quad mech speed of 4/6/0. All of this for a BV: 1,856 and 8,571,000 C-bills. In addition due to being a quad assault mech it would get a nice solid -3 to its piloting checks to fire the heavy gauss on the move, allowing it to rather easily support a advance.
However while solid, reliable and heavy set, the BV of 1856 is somewhat off setting in its duty to act as a sort support unit. Hence I redesigned it to try and lower the cost. Yet out of all 3 its arguably the most solid, and I wanted a outside perspective on this.

The second build is the 70 ton redesign of the Killroy. Stripping out 3 tons of armour, and switching to a composite structure and small cockpit to shave more BV off. Using light ferro and some CASE in the CT (to prevent the light gauss from killing the pilot), this one still has the targeting computer and also 4 tons of ammo making it considerably more fragile but unlikely to kill the pilot. It also has ECM in the head, largely to give it some light stealth capability and also shield itself against attack.
However the use of composite leaves it very open to that Heavy gauss just blowing the whole thing to kingdom come, and and the 7 million price tag is still a tad expensive. Yet the Battle Value of 1,590, is much more reasonable for its one truck pony, one weapon layout.

And lastly we have the 60 ton variant which I am very unsure on. Losing the targeting computer, and using a XL gyro along with composite structure this one sits at a very affordable 1,421, while also having a nice solid 5/8 movement. The armour is however very thin around the legs only having enough to stop a gauss rifle slug, and lacking weight and room, it loses the CASE meaning the pilot is very much at risk to being blown up. However with all this weight savings though the mech is able to be fielded for the low low price of 1,421 BV, and a okay price of 6,368,000 C-bills.
While lacking the accuracy and being a Gauss bomb, it does however only use a standard engine, 6 million by jihad is very cheap, and it still gives that heavy gauss a nice solid 360 degree arc, while also having good ammo dependency for 16 rounds, while cruising at a decent cavalry mech speed of 5/8/0. Though this comes at the expense of a design with armour protection comparable to most mediums, and having no back up weapons.
Still like its above 70 ton brother it would only get a -1 bonus to piloting due to the small cockpit and being only a heavy.
