Watching the stream for Aces right now and I’m going to be spending so much money this year! Between a couple more clan forcepacks and everything that’s either been scheduled or being announced this weekend, I’m gonna have to work some overtime to keep my wife from getting PO’ed.
Edit: New plastic has the Thunderbolt IIC, Fulcrum vehicles x2, Locust IIC 4, Howler 6, Summoner H(?), Marauder IIC 6, a Rifleman variant, and a Bane 3. We finally get proper AS cards for Elementals. And more cardboard terrain a la the AS box. Liya needs to be running 24/7 until these boxes are ready for shipping!

Looks like the Rifleman IIC in the Aces box will have the Phoenix fins be an optional fit.  Or at least that is the current plan.

It's a Rifleman C 2, not a IIC. Easy mistake.

If I understand correctly, there will be four different Aces box sets. One for Tamar Rising, Empire Alone, Dominions Divided, and IKEO. Not sure if they will have unique models for each set but I fervently hope so! The first set is called Scouring Sands and will go with Tamar Rising. The models provided are your JF OpFor for the scenarios. The haven’t heard a release date yet but they did mention that the first box is about 90% done. The terrain will be a different biome for each box.

If the scenarios can be played as one-offs without having to deal with a campaign, this boosts my interest level greatly.

Maybe I misunderstood . . . Aces will have mini?  I thought it was a card game.

I don’t recall them saying if the scenarios can be played as one offs but the book has a two page layout for each scenario. I’m guessing that if they were connected as a campaign, it wouldn’t take too much to play them independently.

Same difference when boiled down to effectiveness.  A Rifleman on Clantech that Jumps.

The C 2 is very not the same amount of effectiveness as a IIC.

I can’t wait to get my hands on the Aces box. I don’t even care about the minis. Having a solo Alpha Strike option is a game changer.
