Both are in the list of proposed force packs within the next 2-3 years.

I hope there will be a general release message, instead of just showing up at your store, and hope for the best.

At this point, "just showing up at my store and hoping for the best" seems to be the only reliable way of getting information on whether my store actually has the Big MAC box or not, what with it "being on a boat" for over a month at this point (since it was two weeks of no info beyond "on the boat" from the last Tuesday Newsday) with no updated info beyond B&N pulling the webpage for it.

Pretty sure my two local Barnes & Noble stores are starting to think I'm casing them for a long con since I walk in, make a loop, check two shelves really hard, then leave without buying anything.

If the Panama Canal unavailable (due to drought) when they get there, it's 2 months from China by boat.

And the Canal has been closed more than open this year.

Before you call the police, the boat has arrived and the new expected release date (on CGL's side) is December 11th.

Mech Martens ate the ship radar wiring.  Add 2d6 more weeks for repairs to be affected by the only approved contractor.  (Just kidding folks)

So… what’s the ETA go IlKhans Eyes Only? The Tuesday Newsday (Thread) didn’t seem to have it for this weeks recap.

Peachstate Hobby Distribution currently has a December release date for IKEO.  We'll probably get a confirmation on the date from PAX Unplugged (December 6-8).

Wondering if they'll still release the tie-in novels before IKEO arrives.
All Clan totems are equal but some are more equal than others.

"The Succession Wars solved no problem. Their effects, both immediate and indirect, were either negative or disastrous. Morally subversive, economically destructive, socially degrading, confused in their causes, devious in their course, futile in their results, they are the outstanding example in Spheroid history of meaningless conflict."
The Third Star League's view of the Succession Wars, plagiarised from an ancient Terran historian's judgement of the Thirty Years War.

Probably not, Blood Will Tell by Tom Leveen is due for April as of Tuesday Newsday on the 10th of September and Trial of Birthright by Michael Ciaravella hasn't been mentioed in a while.

At one point it was planned as part of the Mercenaries kickstarter, it was cancelled because Catalyst only has so many resources and it was decided as being less important then Legends II.

Which is sad. The original Tukayyid sourcebook wasn't too bad but occasionally janky and the modern one was the book I never expected I'd see even with the pro-Clan bias. The old Luthien sourcebook however was is far worse in areas and a modern refinement would be most welcome. Oh well.

Agreed.  The resources to play it are quite all over the place, from Classic to Mechwarrior, to Aerotech, to the grand-daddy of Battleforce.

I think my local bi-weekly GM is working on a Classic/Alpha Strike hybrid stretch after we do the Twycross counter-assault.  At least so far as he's announced to us for his road map.  We're just start the 2nd of 3 theaters in Wave 1 this weekend, though, and have Wave 2 to deal with before even Twycross.

Our Theater 1 group came out lighter on Battlemechs, but still good with their Mechwarriors, even if one of our Artillery trains was reduced of all of their units aside from a lone Ballista and Infantry Platoon.  We managed to salvage enough to rebuild a Summoner out of it, though.  Probably won't get to keep it, though.  Still, that's probably good as the maintenance and repair on that will be a b****.

We also managed most of a second Summoner out of it, as well as most of an Executioner.  We're talking about taking the engines and putting them in something else.  We've got a few Archers, Grasshoppers, and Warhammers that it can fit in to.

Gotta use those pirate points!  I mean, I know they’re only supposed to be used in emergencies, but just about every novel includes their use at least once.

To be fair to the novels reading about something that didn't qualify as an emergency would likely be boring.

Note that Clan Wolf has been issuing drubbings around the Inner Sphere in a counter-clockwise manner since 3130. They're now at the six o'clock position.
