Gone as far back as page 10, I don't think this was ever asked.
In AToW Tactical Combat Addendum, on page 212 the Anti-Infantry rules for vehicular weapons explicitly tell us that none of what's mentioned in those rules applies to Battle Armor weapons, and instead we are sent to page 214 for BA weapon rules specifically. The thing I am interested in, is the fact that vehicle-mounted AI weapons can fire at the same rates as personal-scale weapons (i.e. they fire every AToW turn, not every TW turn).
On page 214, the Battle Armor Weapons section, I believe, neglects to actually mention how often Battle Armor may fire its weaponry. Excluding the obvious answer for BA-mounted/BA-held infantry weapons, what is the correct answer for how often BA weapons can fire in AToW:
- All BA weapons may fire once per AToW turn? (Thus potentially producing an artifact where if using Tactical Combat Addendum BA can fire twice?)
- All BA weapons may fire once per TW turn / once per two AToW turns? (Seems more sensible, but limiting in personal combat.)
- BA variants of mech-scale non-AI weapons fire once per TW turn, BA variants of AI weapons fire once per AToW turn? (Happy middle ground I guess, but that's gonna be a nightmare to adjudicate.)
Cheers.
