What is the scale for the museum scale mechs?  Does it match up to any of the model railroad gauges?

I do not think a scale was ever selected for the original Museum Scale mechs. Anyone that might know for sure is not around anymore. I am pretty sure they just wanted bigger sized mechs. In that line was one for Shadowrun and two Crimson Skies fighters.

When the battlemaster was done, we had it made to compare to the original four.

The two new ones from the KS are scaled better, I would have to check if a specific scale was selected.

I know this is an older topic, but it didn't seem worth creating a new thread in the same vein as this one...

Was that new scale ever determined?

Also, how do the Museum Scale resculpts compare to the old?  Looking at the Timber Wolf as a possible desk piece but wondering the actual size + whether I should be looking at new or old...

I don't think it was determined yet, but I could be wrong...however, that new Timber Wolf one (as well as the new Warhammer) are FANTASTIC for their detail and all. Really just beautiful to be honest. As much as I like the Timber Wolf overall...if I had to pick one, the younger kid in me would be very mad at picking the newer one over the older one, but it's just that good.
