Just wondering if this feature disappeared?
Further, what was done to change water over some previous versions on the map? I have some hexes that are not working on my maps.
-
In the new lobby? No, it's still there, but it's accessed in a different way.
When you pick the board you want to add to your map, you right-click to define which of the positions on the map you want it to be in. That right-click menu also includes an option for "Set as board (rotated)".
As for the water hexes, that's a known bug in some releases, I think relating to the graphics mapping for the default Saxarba tileset. Which version are you running? And, if on Windows, did you use the Windows unzipper, or something like 7zip?
-
No, I just pulled all my custom maps from a older version of MM.

As Simon asked for, I'd need to know the following to provide more information:
1) MegaMek version
2) Java Version
3) Operating System
4) If Windows did you use the broken built-in unzipper or an external zipper (e.g. 7-Zip)?
-
1- get back to you later
2- had to update, again have to check
3- Win 10
4- No, like I said I just pulled my custom maps from one folder to the other
Some of the other water hexes were ok . . . just, ugh, I have a LOT of custom riverside maps. Though I will poke at it, I think some of the affected hexes might have something in the hex besides water.

The issue isn't with the maps, it's with the unzipping of the tileset, so the unzipping question relates to the unzipper you used to unzip MegaMek, not the maps.

Okay, using 49.3 and it does not have that as a option- to rotate.
-
Was fixed in 49.4. We are currently at 49.6

Ok, well that solves that, lol
