I am sure I asked this before and it has not changed, but if I am running a campaign with the 0.48.0 version and I want to be able to set fires, what settings do I need?

I can't remember a setting off the top of my head.  Did you try right-clicking on a hex to ignite it during the weapon attack phase?

I have not seen that come up as of yet.

I do believe there are two options under Advanced Rules that may need to be checked.

One to allow for fires in the first place.  Another so that Clear hexes can burn too.

Don't need "(Unofficial) No igniting clear hexes" (oddly enough, that covers planted fields too, which seems a bit wrong).  Just the "TacOps Starting Fires" option.

Setting fires is the same as targeting a hex to clear it, except there is an extra option to ignite.
Think about it.  It's what we do.

Got the fires working in time to start an all light mech campaign with my son. There is something to be said for turning the woods that infantry just ran into into a bonfire.

Also works well to illuminate targets at night.
