ComGuard Camo question

I finally received my Level-IIs and am in the process of trying to create a combined arms Level-III from the 7th Army V-iota, 244th. I'm trying to paint a Tukayyid era 244th Division Level-III and had some questions about camo and decals that I hoped folk might know the answers to.

First, I know that in 3052 the ComGuards were still using the old ComStar logo, what I am not sure about is whether at Tukayyid the 7th guard were already using the "Dark Wave" logo, or just the sort of silver shield (in the Revised Tukayyid book, pg. 178). Can anyone answer that? I know FM:Comstar has the "Dark Wave" logo, but that sourcebook post-dates Tukayyid.

Likewise, the old Tukayyid sourcebook has the 7th Army in ComGuard ceremonial white, but the Revised Battle of Tukayyid gives the 7th Army a sort of brown camo color (unlike 1st-6th Armies). Does anyone know which is correct (I also recognize it doesn't really matter, but I am trying to go for accuracy)?

Appropriate camo for the mission on hand, with the white for ceremonial duties is how I understand the wording.  It's just harder to see the Comstar logo on a camo background usually.

I assumed all units used the older shield logos at Tukayyid. The unique logos came about once they "earned their stripes" in combat. I don't have a canon source for this, though.

Camo schemes can be used in the field. White is for parade/ceremony. Most people I see paint them white so they look like ComStar.

Cheers! That's the assumption I had too, also given that most of the unit nicknames, at least in FM:ComStar, heavily imply post-Tukayyid names, with unit insignia to match.

Part of what throws me though is that all of the artwork in Battle of Tukayyid Revised has almost all of the ComGuards in ceremonial white, and as Luciora pointed out, it's hard to see the unit insignias.

There's also a Mad Cat featured with a Black Widow Company logo rather than a 13th Wolf Guards logo. The book's artwork is beautiful, but it's OK to take it with a grain of salt.

Yeah, that caught my eye too and I did a double-take wondering if there was something about that deployment that I might have missed!
