Victor SD's Daishi
« on: 28 February 2011, 03:11:37 »
Okay, here are a few pics of my custom Prometheus.  I used an xacto knife to cut the barrels off the arms and trim the missiles and also to make room for the large pulse lasers and UAC/20.  This was my first big time kitbash.   I painted her up in 10th Lyran Guards colors.  They Lyran Guards and 10th Lyran Guards symbols are hand painted.

Yeah, that really bumed me out to hear that she actually escaped and lived to an old age
with Vlad ward.  I was hoping she would have somehow fallen into a vat of disfiguring acid
or was in the wrong place at the right time and accidentally walked in on a WOB ice cream scocial.
Knowing her though, she probably would have taken over and started the Jihad herself  #P

I took a break from Btech before the civil war was concluded, so I missed the actual details of her defeat.
was there a novel that had the details of her defeat? and was there a cool confrontation between her and Victor
to conclude everything?

Sounds like you want to read Loren L. Coleman's End Game.  That'll give you the confrontation you were looking for.

Oh thank you!  :-*  Now I know what to look for.  I hope it's not like she realized she would loose and hastily jumped on a ship and fled to Wolf OZ space.I was always hoping it would be like she would try to run away and there would be Victor suddenly blocking her way and she would try to play it out like she was only doing whats best for her realm and she was just a pawn all the while reaching behind her back for a hidden pistol.
then all of a sudden you would hear "Look out Victor! she's gotta gun!" and Kai Allard would jump out from a nearby ventilation duct and tackle her to the ground.  Then you would hear the gun go off and you wouldn't know what had happened for several seconds to build up suspense.
Then Victor would run or and turn them over to find that Kat had shot herself. That way Victor wouldn't have a sudden sence or stupid morality and say (in a stupid voice) "Derrrrr...I don't want to kill my own sister after all.  I her by banish you and will let you flee" (somehow forgetting what had happened to Omi)  I will have to read it to find out for myself.
