We continue our tour through Technical Readout: 2750 by looking at two more 'Mechs from the Star League.  This fortnight, we look at the Lancelot and Bombardier, two heavy 'Mechs that are similar to older, more familiar 'Mechs, the Rifleman and Archer.  And these two 'Mechs were well positioned to take over from the older two when they became Unseen.  Sometimes opportunities arise from crises.  If you'd like to learn how to play them in game, the Lancelot has a 'Mech of the Week article but the Bombardier does not.  (Although the Bombardier is a missle boat so it should be played like others.)

The Bombardier started life as a Battledroids mini - one of the supplemental minis created in that era.  I don't know how it translated into what we saw in TRO: 2750 - or if they're even still the same 'Mech.  Including that sculpt, the Bombardier has two sculpts:
  • The Battledroids sculpt (20-815)
  • The TRO: 2750 sculpt (20-424)
The Lancelot only has a single sculpt (20-812).

If you have any of these minis painted, please share pictures.  We'd love to see them!

As always, thank you for reading!

Our next two fortnights will be:
  • 8/2: Ursus and Ursus II
  • 8/16: Thug and Crockett
