My collection of mech madness
« on: 27 April 2011, 00:23:52 »
Thought that I should share my madness and collection. It has mostly been pieced together via a few trades and would love some feedback on the rareness of mechs and which ones prove most useful for you. I have yet to be able to strip them from their previous owners paint but I do plan to get to it. Anyways enough lolligagging here is the link to my photobucket album.

I like that you named them all :) I recognized the plastic minis, even though I couldn't zoom in :P

Very nice, but don't make any reservation at the nut house yet. The line starts about a mile behind me. ;D :D }:)

Like I said I still have another 30 mechs or so to photograph and add to the album. I also play Dust, Bloodbowl, and 40k so you can add another 200-300 miniatures on top of those LOL.

Nice variety, definitely some great mechs to choose from there.  Ill just throw in a few quips, as most here have more experience than I...

For clan mechs, the Kingfisher is an absolute zombie.  Good armor and a standard engine mean it will keep walking well past the damage level of many clan mechs, which use XL engines.
Battle Cobra and Pouncer - excellent medium Omnis.  My cousin uses the BC for 1v1 games and uses LPLs to hit while constantly running.
Night Gyr - excellent choice.  its Prime variant is very nasty

For inner sphere mechs, the Wraith is incredibly mobile and, with its pulse laser hitting bonuses, still a solid damage dealer.
The Falconer could arguably be one of the best inner sphere mechs available - quite fast for its weight, well armed, plenty of armor and with jump jets for even more movement.  It's an extremely well-rounded mech with no serious weaknesses

I havent played much with the others, sorry.....

Finished posting the rest of my mechs minus my second Flea and a Champion that isn't cooperating with the re-assembly from being broke during shipping. Also there are 15 protomechs, 5 of each type in the picture.

Do you have a prefreed faction or are you just looking for generic lances?

No preferred faction, more thinking of merc company type thing. However I am going to hopefully run a campaign starting on Solaris and ending up god knows where. Anyway any thoughts on a good starting matches and stuff would be awesome. Hopefully gonna have 4 players.
