Here we have a Marik affiliated lance, whose paint scheme I'm kinda "eh" on, and a gang of pirates called the Bone Collectors, that I totally didn't throw together out of spare miniatures or anything.

I recognise the OGRE heavy tanks, but what are the others?

Assuming you mean the heavy armor platoon, those are CAV Lion tanks.
Good news is the lab boys say the symptoms of asbestos poisoning show an immediate latency of 44.6 years. So if you're thirty or over you're laughing. Worst case scenario you miss out on a few rounds of canasta, plus you've forwarded the cause of science by three centuries. I punch those numbers into my calculator, it makes a happy face.

Innocent civilian vehicle or secret Rotunda?

Found a bag of unpainted Z scale cars I'd picked up somewhere or other and painted this up on a whim.

The Outback Minutemen specialize in pirate hunting and training periphery worlds to protect themselves, and were formed with the lofty goal of eradicating banditry in the periphery regions adjacent to the Davion Outback.

Such a job doesn't come with a lot of pay, though, so the big draw for recruitment is the chance to actually do something about the problems the major governments aren't willing to spend the resources on. Surprisingly, despite their original focus on Davion territories, they've also brought in a fair number of recruits from the Taurian Concordat and Outworlds Alliance.

Still, bitterness doesn't bring in the gear, so the formation has to make do with what it can scrounge up. Most of the pilots they bring in are dispossessed, just hoping for a chance to get a mech as salvage from the next bandit haven. Those mechs they have have pretty varied histories. Here we've got a fairly ordinary Phoenix Hawk and Wasp paired up with a Taurian manufactured Commando and another ancient Wasp of uncertain provenance that, despite being fitted out to modern standards, has bones that might date back to the twenty fifth century.
