Tried a bit of basemodding. This should look like it jumped and burned the grass underneath.
Anyway, it is a Sagittaire affiliated to the 17. Skye Rangers.

That's a nice looking mech, but... it pooped.

Very nice clean looking mech. I think the scorched grass came out great.

It really is great looking, but it does look like it pooped. I feel like that technique would be perfect for most 'Mechs with jump jets, but the Sagittaire has that huge jet on its butt that just makes it seem kind of silly.

I have to agree, the burn effect is fantastic. It does look like something scared the poop out of the pilot, though.
Well done!

Mostly a fading from dark red to sun yellow. The position of the static grass helped a lot to get a 3D effect.

You are inspiring me
I'm wondering if gold is part of the canon scheme or it just your fun to add it.

It is canon for members of the 17. Skye Rangers according to the Field Manual: Lyran Alliance.
(FM:LA p. 101: Gold is also used for highlights on the regiment's BattleMechs and aerospace fighters.)

Well even though it's supposed to be a burn effect, the poop effect is so much more interesting! I think it makes it unique in every way!
