Hey does anyone know the parade colors for Captain Skippy's UrbanMech Cavalry? :P

Anyway, a full 12 of anything seems rather excessive to me but OK.  It would be cool to see some variants, though.

It actually exists! I thought that the story about it being sent to Randall instead of to the GenCon (crew) was a joke. Randall is now in possession of probably con-exclusive items.  ;D

Didn't plan to go any further than that, good sir.  And I think there's already one of those down where it belongs.

A company of Urbanmechs would be a solid counter to a company of bugs. Cheaper, higher firepower. Sure the bugs could bypass them but they couldn't afford to get close to the urbies. Make the urbies Suburbanmechs, or LL mods and the Bug Horde dies on the Urbie hoard.

Hmmm... I see an event in the future. Urbies vs Bugs! FIGHT!

Birds versus Monkeys!!!! sorry, read that and immediately thought of the bird v. monkey fight scene in Rio.  We need an official AA/fast mover-killer variant ... lighter AC type w/ spec ammo.

I feel I will always miss the composition of the old FASA/RP-era lance boxes. They really informed how I imagine lances and companies being made up.

Agreed! I couldn't put my finger on it at first, but this is what I was feeling as well. The new ForcePacks are generous with assault mechs (which is cool!) but it seems to crowd out common light mechs, which does feel a little odd for us long-time players. In the lore there are Locusts, Wasps, Stingers, Valkyries, Panthers, Jenners, Javelins, and Urbies galore, but Banshee, Thug, Cyclops, Marauder II, etc. in much smaller numbers. And I get it: how to make all the mechs fit into a product line without just making assault themed boxes in smaller numbers? It's a conundrum. I do wish the common IS lights were easier to get multiples of, though, just to balance out my collection and forces, and as a painter I really wish it was easier to get the iconic/popular art models in larger numbers so I could try different paint schemes on them. Maybe I don't need an actual dozen but I'd love to see "Painter Packs" of multiples of iconic mechs, maybe with pack-in decals or base-flocking materials to make them distinct. If they came in sets of four, or even eight (for trading!) I'd buy that for sure, even with a higher sticker price than the average ForcePacks. This would also encourage scalpers to go ruin something else and leave Battletech alone.
What stands in the way, becomes the way.
