WSP-1 Wasp (Primitive): THAF Parade / Niops Association Militia

Another one of my more recent painting experiments, sticking to the Terran Hegemony Armed Forces parade scheme that's canonically listed as the Niops camo spec:



Strangely, this is also getting used as a D&D mini for a campaign I'm running for my wife and 8 year old son (My son: "Daddy, you should play that guy in our game!" - so, yeah, now he's a warforged artificer).

Me too.  it reminds me a lot of the base-white color scheme that Max Jenius' Valkryie used in some of the Macross anime.

Also, amusingly, waaaay back when Virtual World was still a major thing, I used to use an almost identical color scheme to the Niops one when I was playing.

I have a lance of era appropriate mechs in the scheme as well.  I do have a Phawk LAM on my workbench that needs a scheme...was eyeing the Macross Frontier Draken because of the general overall look, wouldn't be hard to keep the scheme but use the Niops / Jenius / Sterling scheme now.
