That first game definitely felt appropriate for Turkey Day

:brew: Well what do you expect from SFH the new owner of Detroit Lion. I love the picture of SFH with her hand to the face when the Lion drop pass in the fourth Q. I know Matt and Bob are gone after this season ,I'll be surprise if she fire them both today. I doubt it. I know everyone talking about the Lion on radio right now about how bad they have been, its been very long time . I know they are cursed. Why you should say they are cursed. Bill Ford got full control of the Detroit Lion on November 22 1963  :o . What happen on that date everyone. Later from a burn out Detroit Lion fan from 1995.

I like the moves, firing both Bob Q. and Matt P. WILL shake things up for sure.  Not sure it will do anything right away, but it will change the future we're headed toward.

It appears they do that or forfeit. If I’m a top team I’m putting my QB in a panic room that only opens on Sunday’s

Someone explain why CLE should keep Mayfield, as opposed to shop for a QB in the draft next season? I found it humorous to hear in mention suggestions of hiring Dorsey as a GM for any of the 4 currently available slots... and Baker was Dorsey's pick. we're 8 & 3 for the first time in forever but i actually want a QB who actually Can QB...

You're 8 and 3 and your first instinct as a Browns fan is to.... blame the quarterback for holding you back? ???

Kansas City players, or people who are just passing through the area, come join us at the Geekery just off Shawnee Mission Parkway for BattleTech!  Current days are Tuesdays in the afternoon and evening.  I can't make every single week, but odds are pretty good that somebody will be there.

who are the replacement options? they've gone and had a decent season so they'll have to mortgage a pile of picks to trade up

Where has that Falcons team been all season?

They usually loose a big lead in the end of the game.

Seattle did so close to what I expected today it was not funny.

How much New York really dominated that game is not reflected in the final score.

And yeah I think Russ is cooked after having to carry the team for so long.

Last two minutes of the Lions game was worth every second of that game.  Never give up!

Also Cleveland is 9-3 on the season, what planet am I on?

I need therapy, badly. I'm still distrustful of BM but... we have a winning record since... holy crap (and to add to my phobia? BM had like 4 TDs in a half, something not done since Otto Gramm?

If Coach Ski does not get CotY, he will be the first runner up at the very least. That guy, is amazing (so far).

I have to give credit to the Titans on their come-back-almost. A few things going their way and the roles reverse. They did not die at the half.

Y'know, you're not wrong.

Meanwhile I've never seen a receiver give up a touchdown like poor Tyreek Hill...that's gotta smart when he saw the video and realized the ball never hit the ground.

I 100000% blame the refs for ****** this up.  It is literally your entire job to rule that as a TD on the field and then review it.

In all fairness to the refs, even the broadcasters thought that was an incomplete pass and didn't notice it until they started seeing other views, and by then the ball was already snapped for the kick.  I agree the refs should have called that better, but it's pretty convincing when even the receiver basically tells you "nope, I dropped that ball."

That TD and the one called back for holding hurt; that should have been another 11 points.  Ugly win, but a win.

Time for Monday Night Football, followed by Tuesday Night Football...

I don't care how this football game ends:  GO FOOTBALL TEAM!

Also, TJ Watt lines up in the neutral zone nearly every play.  I do like him on Ultimate Tag, though.

EDIT:  HA HA, suck it Yinzers!  (please note that as I was a freshman at Carnegie Mellon when Washington last won in Pittsburgh I feel well within my rights to taunt the locals as their team goes deep in the playoffs)

What a fall. A few years ago he looked to be one of the bright young franchise QBs, now he's the sixth rated active QB in the underwhelming NFC East.

he played at ndsu (my alma mater) so I watched pretty much every one of his games when he was in college. he was injury-prone then as now... ironically his draft status was helped by basically missing his entire senior season and riding into the fcs championship like the lone ranger. that ACL tear vs the rams was the inevitable outcome, unfortunately.

That Jets Seahawks game...

Ouch.  I don't want to read into it too much because it is the Jets but still it made me wish there was a mercy rule.
