I have a feeling that if Tom Brady wins another SB he'll finally retire.

So the two games yesterday wasn't great offensive football, but they were good defensive football. (But the problem is everyone wants an exciting game with lots of points).

Normally I like a 3-10 point game where both teams get into the 20s, but that’s a lot to ask in the bitter cold. You just can’t throw the ball. Ironically, the conditions in Green Bay favored San Francisco and their 1977 offense rather than the home team. They’re going to drag the winner of todays game into the mud too.

The CIN@TEN game… that was just two dudes trying to wrangle a greased pig (the end zone is the pig in this metaphor). Neither of those teams win pretty. Probably a bad sign for them in the AFC championship game… unless it’s in Buffalo… oh no, that’s possible

it will depend on what sort of team he would have next year I think..  he claims to want to play until he 50 or until this happens on the field.  Then he done.

That blocked punt last night seemed like it stayed in the air for a year. What a moment- I don't care about either team, and even I was shouting and pointing like a lunatic. (The cat was unimpressed)

Yeah, hoping he comes back in the second half - but 3 unsportsmanlike penalties? Ouch!

Boy the Buccs offense was lack today, both Brady and the lack of good targets. Seems there is a good defense against Gronk, Evans and Fournette.

I wish they had a small quick guy like Brady had at the Pats in Edelman

They have two outstanding tight ends this shouldn’t be an issue

Once again, pressure with four is Brady’s Achilles

Potentially the best weekend of NFL playoff football?

...Bills should have kicked short after their last TD to burn the clock some.

I’d say one was good and another was entertaining. Very little of what the rams did in the second half could be considered quality football and then they got bailed out by Tampa not covering Kupp

I never thought I say I am sorry for the Bills
Damm I thought u had it...

We were thirteen seconds from a very early 90s AFC title game.

Why feel sorry for them they Choked.  All they had to do was play defense for 13 seconds

That fourth quarter enshrines the phrase "it's not over until it's over" for me.  Those last two minutes were miracles of scoring and counterscoring...seriously who'd expect a field goal with a 13 second drive?

with the mahomey? i was giving it a one in ten, which is about one more in ten i'd give to almost any other team.

you don't *need* elite quarterbacking to win the title, but damn if it isn't fun when two are out on the same field

this is also a reminder that if you forgot how fast tyreek hill is like i did, by the time you realize it, you'll already be dead

The Bucs injuries finally caught up with them.

I dont really have a team to root for at this point since all I cared about was Green Bay getting knocked out.

As a Bay Area guy I'm rooting for the Niners--but Jimmy G just isn't in the same league as the rest of the QB's in the playoffs.

We had our shot at the Chiefs in a Super Bowl already, and saw what happened when you shut down Mahomes for 3 quarters:  kid just beats you in the 4th quarter and you lose anyway.  I'm hoping someone else gets to play in the Super Bowl, spread the wealth style.

Besides, anyone in America want to watch us play 70's style smash mouth football for 8 more quarters this year?

Wow, didn't expect the Saints to have a new head coach. That's gonna be a rough job to walk into.

He made so many awful decisions. Green Bay lost that game more than anything.

As a Bears fan, it’s the only thing I have in the NFL season really.  ;D
I like the Bucks, my old friend from Illinois is the other (not Gronk) TE. I had his dad for a 4th grade teacher.

So Big Ben is retiring, could Rodgers and Brady follow him? If so it feels like the passing of a generation of great QBs..

I don't think Brady's going to retire yet, myself, but I could be happily wrong.  Who's going to replace Roethlisberger on the Steelers?

Hopefully not Mason Rudolph, who has proven he's Not It.  I have to imagine they try to move up and draft whoever looks promising in the first round.

i have bad news if you need a quarterback

Code: [Select]
RK PLAYER SCHOOL YEAR POS POS RK HT WT
15 Kenny Pickett Pittsburgh Sr QB 1 6-3 220
19 Matt Corral Ole Miss Jr QB 2 6-2 205
20 Malik Willis Liberty Jr QB 3 6-1 215
51 Carson Strong Nevada Jr QB 4 6-4 215
55 Sam Howell North Carolina Jr QB 5 6-1 225
94 Desmond Ridder Cincinnati Sr QB 6 6-4 215

1-2 of pickett and corral aren't terrible for the top of the board but it's very shallow after that
