A miniaturized Timberwolf, which hunts it's prey in packs. A star of 5 of these actually outguns the Iconic clan mech, and a full star is the same weight as it was well. It even match's it's larger cousin's speed. With a star able to fire 40 LRM missiles, and having a total of 10 medium lasers, this protomech is undeniably dangerous to anyone who crosses it.
Only ever deployed accompanying timberwolves, mechwarriors derisively refer to this design as a "mini-me".
Below is a picture of this new protomech (*snicker*) :D

Don't see enough ProtoMechs I did something similar with an ultralight 15 ton Mech it's crazy what you can do with them
That's pretty nice and given they fight in points very dangerous
I think I'd still give the edge to the Timber Wolf in a fight purely because of a better concentration of firepower and armour
I have a twelve ton Wasp Proto as well matches original frirepower

I would too, the long range weapons and equal speed would allow a wise mechwarrior to win that fight if they play it smart. These have medium lasers, where the Timberwolf has ER large lasers, and that makes a difference.

Nice! I was thinking of miniaturizing big mechs, but that is another great way to go too.

The clans do have a tradition of making lighter units based on Inner Sphere designs... well except the Phoenix Hawk IIC not entirely sure what happened
(Big breakfast)

I decided I am going to make bunches more so started a thread over in the base fan designs board, reposted this, and a battle armor version of the Awesome.
