I genuinely cannot wait for these. I love the Combat Manuals and I am thrilled to see the product reborn. This is a line of products that the game has been sorely lacking.

Ground Combat / Loading ammo from ammo trailers, and calculating BV
« Last post by elleeVee on Today at 18:35:26 »
Hi! I'm using a Paladin artillery tank, and planning on hitching a J-27 trailer on it for more ammo stowage. 2 Questions; 1, what are the rules for loading ammo from the trailer to the Paladin mid-game, and is that even possible?
And 2, is there an easy way to run the BV for the 8 tons of long-tom ammo loaded into the trailer?

Thanks!

Mostly commenting to follow, but definitely count me among those eagerly awaiting the rebirth. Can I finally retire the "fan made" Combat Manuals!?  ;D
Oh, just wait until you see my Force Manual: That One Faction That Appears As An Offhand Mention In One Or Two Sourcebooks That I've Been Obsessed With That Will Never Get An Official Force Manual.

Honestly, it's for stuff like that I hope that some day, we get multi-faction Force Manuals that are a compilation of smaller forces. I badly want as Force Manual: Conspiracies book with lore and rules for the special ops units of the Inner Sphere's intelligence community, the Saurimat, the Thugee Phansigars (assuming they're not rolled into WoB), The Society, and so on—maybe even the Cult of St. Cameron. If it sells well, maybe it could get a supplement covering some of the secret societies, cults, and other underground movements that took the chaos of the HPG blackout as the opportunity to act (White Hand, Bannison's Raiders, Daughters of Kali, Cult of St. Apollyon, etc.).

Any Force Manual that could find a way to fit the Ebon Keshik in would be awesome as well.

Was just about to say!  ;D

Quote from: Loren Coleman
We will fulfill to our backers end of this year/beginning of next year, probably.  We predicted June 2024, but things are going so smoothly at the moment that it looks like we'll fulfill very early.
And thus the universe, in its grand, unknowable mystery shifted in conspiracy to delay fulfillment until 2026.

I would like to see AS rules for all the additional formation variant types that are listed in CO.
Most of those are already taken from the Combat Manuals (including some of the canceled ones, from memory), and generally they all port over cleanly.

That being said, yeah, having a unified list of formations and SCAs for both systems would be great, especially a lot of the currently AS-exclusive SCAs that don't port over to Classic super cleanly without any real modification.

If I’m free I’ll try to show. How many people does it play comfortably do you think? I’ll bring an extra force just in case.

primitive combat vehicles are designed under the support vehicle rules rather than having a discreet set of primitive vehicle construction rules
