Filip Hronek!  I said about a year back this guy would be important for the Wings going forward, even though his name may not move the needle much.

But now he has 5 goals in a 5 game span, the first Wing Defenceman to do so since Nick Lidstrom.

Got to see more from this younger Czech player.

The IS "light" machine gun isn't actually lighter, just less powerful and longer-ranged.

AFAIK the only thing the Endo-Steel is responsible for on the LB-10X is the reduced weight (and probably increased bulk).  An advanced integrated targeting computer is the cause of its range increase.

Personally, I don't think it's worthwhile from a game design standpoint to have an array of weapons whose sole purpose is being the same as existing weaponry, but lighter. (though another interpretation is that Clan tech is that suite, albeit with other benefits...)

not sure how i like the new record sheet format. I like that the armor type and engine can be more prominently displayed. However, I don't think Ferro-fiber needs to be displayed that prominently, or a STD or XL engine.

The intent there is to reduce the amount of cross-product referencing that is needed for certain optional rules to be in play. To use the engine explosion rules, as an example, players would have to not only bring their copy of TacOps:AR to the game, but also a copy of either the TechManual for the engine size formula a relevant TRO---both very unintuitive books to bring to a game.

Another example, for armor: acid warheads rely on knowing which specific type of armor is used by a unit. Certain unit types (eg: vehicles) had no critical table, so their armor was completely unlisted on the record sheet. If said vehicle was a non-featured variant, even a TRO would be of no help here and the type of armor used would ultimately be completely unknown.
