(Answered) Battle of Tukayyid - Battle Support Points Questions

Greetings. I have a couple of questions about BSPs with the BV Optional Rules for Force Generation.

1. On page 24 of Battle of Tukayyid book in the section "Optional Rule: Battle Value/Point Value" it says:
"ComStar Advantage: When using BV or PV to select
ComStar forces, the ComStar side receives free additional
Battlefield Support Points, as shown in the table above."
Yet in the table above it shows 0/12, 0/24 and 0/36 for three Force Sizes suggested by the book. Those are the same numbers that are given on page 22 in Force Size Table. Does it imply that ComGuards meant to double their amount of BSPs? Or am I getting something very wrong?

2. Are there any rules to convert BSPs to proper Battle Value numbers with intention of using Total Warfare and full Combined Arms rules for vehicles, artillery, infantry and ASFs. I know that the book suggests that mechs should be the focus and star of the show, but we'd like to use full Total Warfare rules. Is there any particular rules for that? Maybe in some other books, that we can get?

1. When using Force Points, the comstar advantage and clan invasion are already factored into their costs. ComStar would not get double, and the Clans would not get another free skill boost.  When using BV or PV, you can either not use BSPs and not give Clans a free skill boost (ComStar can buy artillery, aerosapce units, etc and the Clans can pay for their higher skills, or ComStar can buy higher skills/more units and not get artillery/aero/etc and vice versa), or you choose the option to give ComStar free BSPs as shown on the table and give the Clans a free skill upgrade.  But you would not give ComStar free BSPs twice.

2. No, there are no BSP to BV conversions that I'm aware of. The BattleMech Manual has the full BSP rules and has recommended amounts to give to each size, but it's not a BSPs cost this much BV and generally assumes both sides get the same number of BSPs.
