NOVA CEWS (Interstellar Operations: Alternate Eras, page 60) says that ASF equipped with the CEWS can link with ground targets - how do you calculate ranges from the ASF to ground targets for the purposes of their linked allies, considering that ASF don't use range when performing air-to-ground attacks?
Do you use the ground-to-air range calculation from Total Warfare (TW page 109)? Do you use ASF Naval Hexes (as Naval C3 does, )?
I've seen this being discussed on these forums, but not in an official rules capacity, and also about 8 years ago with no movement on that front since, so figured I should verify what the official word is on how to handle the system.
