Title: (Answered) (Errata) LAM WiGE movement wording mismatch
Post by: monbvol on 24 October 2021, 11:25:23
I feel like this has been asked/pointed out before but the search terms I'm using don't seem to be finding it.

Interstellar Operations pages 108 and 109 in particular.

On page 108 for LAMs maintaining elevations we have this wording:

any AirMech moving at more than 1 elevation above its underlying terrain must spend 2 AirMech MPs per hex of
 movement to do so.

Note the lack of the word of "additional".

In the example on page 109:

He may either continue moving at Elevation 3 (at a cost of an additional 2 MP per hex)

The wording creates a situation where one of these is wrong.

Which one is it?

The example is the part that's wrong.

That is quite interesting.  Means it's only 2 MP per hex for a LAM in Airmech mode versus the 3 of WiGE then for those sorts of situations.

Thanks for the answer! :D
