TO:AR p. 175ff. Minefield rules, no mention of trailers
TO:AR p. 175: "Area-Effect Weapon: Minefield attacks are area-effect weapons"
TO:AUE p. 21: "Area Effect Weapons
Damage from weapons with an area of effect [...] may affect multiple Tractors/Trailers in a
train" (these rules concern Support Vehicles)
TW p. 57: "One small or one medium Support Vehicle trailer acts as part of a tractor for purposes of stacking; two small, two medium, or one small and one medium trailers together act as a single Support Vehicle.Treat Large Support Vehicle trailers as individual units for stacking purposes. See Trailers (p. 205 of Support Vehicles) for more information." (these rules concern Support Vehicles)
Rules answer by Xotl regarding stacking: "The tractor/trailer rules apply to Combat Vehicles in the same manner as medium Support Vehicles"
1) Together, this seems to indicate that Combat Vehicle tractor and trailer(s) both take damage separately. Correct?
TO:AUE p. 138: Minesweeper rules, minefields exploding due to sweeping apply damage to minesweepers, no mention of trailers.
However if a sweeping attempt "fails, the minesweeping vehicle itself may still set off the mines under the mines’ normal rules (see p. 175, TO: AR)".
2) This seems to indicate that explosions from sweeping
aren't attacks "under the mines’ normal rules", and only the leading active minesweeper equipment takes damage. Correct?
