(Answered) Auto-eject and ammunition explosion clarification

I'd guess that the auto-ejection system (TO:AR pg. 164-165) does not fire if an empty ammunition bin is hit, but could see it working either way depending on the details of how the detection mechanism works in universe. So: does the auto-ejection system automatically eject the pilot if an empty ammunition bin takes a critical hit?

It does not eject you in that case.
